Artist and writer Tom Moody has talked about a trend where traditionally non-computer artists (painters, sculptors) suffer from "computer envy" and start using computers in their work. However I fall prey to the reverse. I have used and programmed computers so much during the past 3 decades, yet I often wish I were painting. Even after obtaining a fine arts degree in painting & drawing, here I sit, working on the computer, dreaming of gooey physical paint.
